After a lifetime as an independent, I am now labeled a radical leftist--not because my views have changed all that much but because the Overton Window has shifted so far rightward.
I support change. I’m 72 and my views and opinions have changed a lot over the years, sometimes drastically. I respect reason and intellectual debate. But there are not two sides to fascism or genocide to be debated.
Feel ya Steve. I was a democrat. I'm 71 yrs. old. Liberal on some issues, conservative on others. Today I'm on that list of left radicals, like you. My Grandfather, my father, and I are all Anti-fascist!!!
Yes Steve, same here I consider myself a progressive. Left wing fits me also. "Left-wing politics generally support social equality, egalitarianism, and a larger role for government in the economy to reduce disparities through progressive taxation, social welfare programs, and regulation. It is characterized by ideals such as progress, reform, secularism, and the belief that social hierarchies are unjust and should be dismantled."
